Skin wafer

The skin friendly and very flexible skin wafer is made of 100% hydrocolloid. It provides a secure fit, protects the skin and absorbs moisture efficiently. There is excellent balance between secure adhesion and comfortable removal. The skin wafer is available in pre-cut sizes or can easily be cut to the desired size using the cut-to fit version.

Tissue

The very soft, breathable and water resistant tissue is comfortable against the skin and prevents perspiration forming underneath the pouch. It dries very quickly after swimming or showering. The soft film layer has an excellent oxygen barrier, totally preventing odour transmission.

Filter

Our exceptionally good activated carbon filter provides a very long odour neutralizing pathway and can cleanse large amounts of gas. This means the gas will be odour free when it leaves the filter. This filter also prevents ballooning of the ostomy pouch because it has good air flow; however, leakage through the filter is prevented by the protective inner layers of the pouch and the long odour neutralizing pathway within the filter.

Viewing window

The ostomy pouch includes a viewing window which makes it possible to inspect the stoma as well as the output from the stoma. It is also very helpful when applying the pouch to make sure it is located correctly over the stoma.

Integrated vent

The integrated vent is a new and novel way to vent the pouch allowing air out or in, for instance in the case of a vacuum occurring. It can also be used for more effective cleansing by rinsing the pouch via the vent opening.

Clamp or integrated velcro type closure

Ileostomy pouches can be securely closed by using a clamp or soft tie, both of which are provided. Our innovative range of ileostomy products also includes a pouch with an integrated velcro type closure to use instead of a clamp or ties, making the opening and closing of the pouch a much easier task. This strong integrated velcro type system can conveniently be closed by rolling up the outlet and securing the closure via the hook and loop velcro type pads attached to the film. Opening the pouch is equally as easy by disconnecting the two velcro type pads and unrolling the outlet. Additionally, at the base of the outlet is a plastic strip that acts as an opening aid, making it much easier to hold the pouch open when emptying.

2-piece ring system

The reliable, secure, and solid ring system is very flexible which provides high comfort to the user. The pouches can be easily attached to the base plate. The floating ring ensures a very strong and flexible connection between the pouch and the base plate.

Non-return valve

Due to the non-return valve preventing the urine from flowing back towards the stoma, the risk of leakage is minimal even when lying down and comfort to the user is increased. The urine bag has an innerlayer: when the bag is upside down, the urine cannot flow back to the stoma.

Urine tap

The secure and user friendly urine tap can easily be connected to a night drainage bag or leg bag without using an extension connector. This suits to the most standard connectors.

Ultra Light

The ZenSiv ultra light skin wafers are the answer to leakage problems. The skin wafer is extra thin and has very flexible and comfortable touch and feel. The ultra light wafer has ribs for extra secure adhesion on the sides, the ribs avoids curling of the edges.

Foam layer

Some of the ZenSiv hydrocolloid skin wafers are finished with a very soft foam backing. This soft and smooth foam layer makes the wafer and pouch very comfortable to wear.

Irrigation of the ileostomy pouch

The integrated vent in our drainable pouches allows the pouch to be irrigated during wearing. A hygienic way to clean the stoma and pouch. More hygiene and comfort for the user due to this unique solution.
