LiDCO Hemodynamic Monitoring System
LiDCO is a supplier of non-invasive and minimally invasive hemodynamic equipment used to monitor the amount of blood flowing around the body and ensure that vital organs are adequately oxygenated. Clinical studies show that optimising the hemodynamic status of high risk patients produces better outcomes and reduced hospital stay. Since launching our first product in 1999, LiDCO has been committed to improving patient outcomes whilst providing excellent customer service. Dedicated to making a difference.
The continuous monitoring of stroke volume, stroke volume change and stroke volume variation provides powerful insights into both the fluid status of the patient and the actual hemodynamic response to fluid administration in terms of blood pressure and/ or cardiac output changes.
The goal in the OR is to optimize fluid and drug therapy prior and during surgery. Successful hemodynamic monitoring in OR reduces the resources need for high-dependency (ICU).
The challenge is managing the unstable patient and the need is the flexibility to adapt to the acuity of the patient switching seamlessly between non-invasive and minimally invasive hemodynamic monitoring using LiDCOrapid and LiDCOunity, allowing the depth of anesthesia to be measured.
Suitable for a variety of procedures including elected bowel surgery, aortic aneurism, vascular surgery.
